Just starting out or changing careers? Looking for advice from media pros? Participate in AWM SoCal’s Annual Speed Mentoring Event on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the CBS lot in Studio City from 9am to Noon. Continental breakfast included.
DETAILS:
This event is modeled after the speed-dating concept, where every mentee gets five minutes in front of a mentor. At the end of the morning, you will have experienced valuable one-on-one conversations with several industry professionals!
COST:
$15 Members (Must be on current membership list)
$30 Non members
Due to security restrictions, we are unable to accept people at the door. You must be pre-registered and pre-paid. Space is limited, so sign up today!

Alliance for Women in Media, Southern California Chapter
Alliance for Women in Media is a national, nonprofit organization that extends membership to qualified professionals in the electronic media and allied fields. Founded in 1951, Alliance for Women in Media’s mission is to advance the impact of women in the media and allied fields by educating, advocating and acting as a resource to our members, the industry, and the public.
The Southern California Chapter of Alliance for Women in Media offers local benefits to its members, including:

The chapter also holds the annual Genii Awards — a gala not to miss — that celebrates the outstanding contributions of women in Radio, Television, Film, New Media and Advertising. Proceeds from the Genii Awards fund the AWM SoCal student scholarships.
